Over a span of five months The Toolbox Killers, Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris, managed to cause more psychological and physical damage than most serial killers have over much longer stretches of time.  These two men built a friendship over a common love for sexual sadism and hatred for women that shook California to it's very core.  Five women lost their lives to the infamous and brutal killers before they were caught.

So often in life we hear about shenanigans within politics but one of the things that perhaps doesn’t get as much attention in the mainstream world as it could is the shenanigans that go on in a court room.  In recent episodes we have covered some killer tandems who have done the unthinkable to friends, lovers and family and we have even talked about two killers desire to become a modern day Bonnie and Clyde.  This week we are going to look at a case that is slightly different.  This week’s case seems to be a whole bunch of things including killers killing other bad guys and then two killers and their defense attorneys turning on one another repeatedly in a joint trial that was truly one for the ages.

134. The Lululemon Murder: The Murder of Jayna Murray

On the night of March 11th, 2011 two employees were working together at the Lululemon store in Bethesda, Maryland and they closed the store together.  When the employees left the store one of the women reportedly left her purse behind in the store by accident and made contact with the second employee to meet her at the store so that she could retrieve her belongings.  It was reported that the two women were followed into the store by two masked assailants who proceeded to physically and sexually assault both women, ultimately resulting in the death of one of them.  Police however quickly discovered that not everything was as it seemed in their investigation into the murder and very quickly the truth came out.

133. The Disappearance of Emily Bailey

Emily Bailey has been missing since January 1st, 2022 when she disappeared in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.  Emily is a daughter, a sibling, a friend and most of all a mother.  This week we are going to cover her case and appeal to the public to keep her name, her face and her story out in the public eye so that hopefully, mercifully, this tragic case will come to a conclusion one way or another for everyone that is involved.  As we will discuss, it is believed that there is a person or people who know what happened to Emily and know where she, or her remains are.

132. The Disappearance of Brenda Byman

Just over 63 years ago now a young 12-year-old girl would go away to spend some time with her grandmother in Wilmer, British Columbia and she would go to play with some of the local children and wind up spending the night.  The following day however circumstances would lead to her disappearance and even though one of the largest searches in British Columbia history would take place and even though there were so many stories that didn’t line up, a family to this day has still not received any answers as to what happened to their daughter and their sister.

131: The Deaths of Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan

As we have covered in recent episodes, people are seemingly killing one another for reasons that are frankly stupider and stupider.  Murder has become an answer to struggles, strife and issues that many people face daily in their lives.  This week we are going to look at a case where two young men, Dominic Russo who was 20 and his friend Davion Flanaghan, who was 19, lost their lives in a  car crash that the courts deemed to not only be planned and carried out on purpose but even foretold prior to the event happening by the driver, 17-year-old Mackenzie Shirilla.
